Anja Van Goor co-established Flowers of the World in 1984. Since then, floral design has been more than just her business; it’s her life. Here, Anja – floral artist and author – tells her inspiring story.
Our philosophy
Flowers of the World began in Australia as a small establishment in 1984. The business has now flourished into a successful florist with the aim to touch the lives of many through the message of sustainability, fair-trade and organic natural living.
Every action we take is aimed to give customers a sense of wellbeing. Entering the Flowers of the World store immediately provokes a feeling of tranquility.
Local and green
We are a florist first and foremost and everything we offer is made of natural product, you can put flowers in it or it has flowers on it. We also stock a significant range of indoors plants and it is our mission to keep people connected with nature on a daily basis.
